Directions West Bound I-84: (Boise and Meridian Area)

  • I-84 West Bound to Exit 38 (Garrity Exit)
  • Left at the stoplight onto Garrity Boulevard
  • Follow Garrity (Garrity Boulevard turns into 11th Avenue at Lakeview Park) to 11th Avenue  
  • Follow 11th through the underpass into downtown Nampa
  • At the third traffic light left onto 3rd Street
  • At the next light turn right onto 12th Avenue South
  • Proceed South on 12th through Nampa. This road will turn into Highway 45
  • Follow Highway 45 approximately 20 miles South of Nampa.
  • As soon as you cross the river turn right into the parking lot, Walters Ferry Boat Launch.
 
Directions East Bound I-84:  (Caldwell and Middleton Area)
  • I-84 East Bound to Exit 38 (Garrity Exit)
  • Right at the stoplight onto Garrity Boulevard
  • Follow Garrity (Garrity Boulevard turns into 11th Avenue at Lakeview Park) to 11th Avenue
  • Follow 11th through the underpass into downtown Nampa
  • At the third traffic light left onto 3rd Street
  • At the next light turn right onto 12th Avenue South
  • Proceed South on 12th through Nampa. This road will turn into Highway 45
  • Follow Highway 45 approximately 20 miles South of Nampa.
  • As soon as you cross the river turn right into the parking lot, Walters Ferry Boat Launch.
Please give yourself 40-50 minutes travel time (depending on the traffic), from the time you take the Garrity Exit and travel to Walters Ferry Boat Launch.

The Back Roads to Walters Ferry

  • Take Highway 95 South from Ontario through Parma
  • Stay on Highway 95 until you come to Highway 55
  • Stay on Highway 55 until you come to Highway 78
  • Turn right onto Highway 78
  • Turn left onto Highway 45
  • Turn left into Walters Ferry (If you crossed the bridge you went to far)
